Finishing this won’t feel like a waste of time. So basically, this is probably not going to be your all-time favorite but it is a good one-time read. THAT TOO WITH RICHARD AND CAMERON!! Never have I been so happy with the tried and tested love triangle plot twist!! This one thing singlehandedly made this book a 3-star worthy story.
YES !! For once there is a chance of an ACTUAL THREESOME. But, what I love in this book is that they hint at a threesome waiting to happen. It is definitely going to happen in one of the next books. I know Cameron is going to fall for Mia and she for him.You do not want to have him chase you unless you want him to fuck you (has to be consensual. He is not only the club psychiatrist but trains the prospective submissives as well. “Cameron’s fetish is to chase, catch, and fuck.” I quite enjoyed the revelation albeit for its ridiculousness. And I know this is really far fetched to be pulled off by even by a genius psychiatrist but at least it is something different. So he ensured she interviewed and got hired as Richard’s secretary just so that they could fall for each other effectively putting an end to Richard’s risque thrill-seeking behavior. On seeing her he knew that she would be a great match for Richard (Cameron’s best friend and patient). Mia’s best friend’s girlfriend was the secretary at Enthrall before Mia and Cameron had seen Mia in one of the photos with her. Turns out, Mia getting hired was part of Cameron’s scheme.The protagonist just miraculously turns out to be a wanton Sub the moment she has a sexual encounter.īut I was expecting this since I had randomly picked up this book so it was a surprise when I found parts that I actually liked.He is obviously the Dom and the girl obviously the Sub.She has a best friend who probably has feelings for her.She is poor and struggling to make ends meet.She is extremely inexperienced in anything sexual.There are parts that we just keep reading over and over again in every romance book. The story is definitely riddled with monotony. So, now she is the Secretary of the Assistant Director of the club, Richard Booth and is hired by the founder of the club and psychiatrist Cameron Cole as part of a grand scheme. And Mia? She is the innocent virgin (obviously!!) who actually lands the job. Enthrall BTW is the most premier, ‘ bougiest‘ fetish club in town.
She works in an art store but when her best friend’s girlfriend tells her about a vacancy at Enthrall she interviews for it needing the huge paycheck.
The story is from the point of view of down on her luck, 21 YO Mia Lauren. But, the book stands on its own and is not a copy of that so it’s all good. The inspiration of the book very obviously lies with Fifty Shades of Grey. Turns out free books don’t always suck.īut before I sing praises for this book, I need to give a disclaimer. I was bored and just randomly wanted to read some romance.
